MIDI TELEVISION (trading as e-tv) has been given the go-ahead by the Independent Broadcasting Authority to change its shareholding structure. MIDI’s application to amend various conditions of its licence – including language obligations, information programming and children’s programmes was also approved by the IBA, which however rejected its application on the contentious employment conditions. Another chance to own shares in the company has been given to previous shareholders, although their ownership stake has been reduced.
