SunCares which unites all of the hotel group’s initiatives under one umbrella consists of three pillars which focus on issues such as sport and performing art academies, entrepreneurial development and environmental development.
The initiative is intended to enforce the company’s commitment to sustainability in tourism.
“Partnership between government and corporate companies is vital if we want to be successful. Tsogo Sun is one of the companies that do more than expected, “said Minister Van Schalkwyk.
The group’s Chief Marketing officer, Rob Collins shared the minister’s sentiments, adding that the initiative was launched for maximum benefit to communities.
“Through partnerships in the respective sectors, we will see consistent project development across all brands and properties across the country, for maximum benefit to the communities and the environment. It’s a commitment that we as a group are proud to make, he said.
