Executive chairman of HOSKEN CONSOLIDATED INVESTMENTS and acting CEO of e-tv, the free-to-air, Marcel Golding, was yesterday taken by surprise when replaced as a board member of the Mineworkers Investment Trust, MIT, the investment vehicle of the NUM. Chairman of the MIC, Paul Nkuna says althouth people will “always differ on issues”, there had been no in-fighting – Golding left under amicable circumstances. Former ambassador for France, Barbara Masekela and Steve Ratlou, the executive director for MATHOMO FINANCIAL SERVICES, appointed as replacements for both he and Selby Mayise, the late Carletonville general secretary of the NUM.
