There is something for everyone in e.tv’s new banquet of channels. From cartoons to movies, viewers will truly have an array of options at their fingertips. E.tv announced yesterday, that eKasi+, etoonz+, eAfrica+ and emovies+ will go live on 15 October.

E.tv boasts a 17 million viewership and the launch of the channels will coincide with the celebration of their 15th birthday. Marcel Golding, CEO of Sabido Investments, e.tv’s holding company said he was elated that his dream and vision was finally becoming a reality.

Golding said the channels were a breakthrough for his team which had worked hard to ensure a quality product was produced and aired. In addition, Golding said he believed that this was only the beginning for e.tv as it set out to grow it’s banquet and add more channels.

Transmitted by OpenView HD which is a division of e.tv’s sister company, Platco Digital, the channels will bring content varying from drama, news, inspirational content, music, kids programmes and talk shows. More shows that viewers can look forward to include Ek Se, Let’s Talk with Masechaba Lekalake, Katch It With Khanyi, music show, Gumba Gumba and cooking show, Kasi-licious.
