HOSKEN Consolidated Investments and its financial services subsidiary, Mettle, say they have bought Golden Arrow Bus Services, the sole provider of scheduled bus services in the Western Cape metropolitan area, for R250m. It was initially reported that the Congress of South African Trade Unions in Western Cape opposed the deal, but it dropped its opposition after negotiations.
